This time of the year kind of sucks
There are many things that I am wishing
I could be out shooting many bucks
Or having a wonderful time fishing
Life can be so funny
Living day to day
With no money
Yet we find our way
College, that's what we work toward
Over coming all the strife
Even if its hard to afford
Working towards a better life
If we hit a hard spot and life is a half empty cup
We turn our eyes to the Lord and keep looking up
whoops! You have two too many lines. A sonnet has 14 lines. It looks like you're working on an English/Shakespearean sonnet. You had the correct rhyme scheme for the first 12 lines. All that is called for after that is two more lines with a GG rhyme scheme.
