Blog Assignment #1: Introducing myself

  1. My greatest asset is my personality, or so I've been told. :)
  2. My friends will tell you that I am friendly, outgoing, have a good sense of humor, and I'm loud at times but fun to be around.
  3. One thing most people don't know about me is I had back surgery when I was seven years old and had a 20-40% chance of coming out of the surgery walking.  
  4. When I am 40, I will hopefully have traveled out of the US more than twice.
  5. I appreciate it when teachers keep me updated on my grade and how I am doing in their class.
  6. When I want to, I have the ability to be extremely determined.
  7. My pet peeve is someone chewing with their mouth open.
  8. When I am sad I like to either go exercise or bake something.
  9. People like me because I'm outgoing, positive, can be funny, and just an all around good person to be with.
  10. A friend once showed me how to crochet.
  11. I like almost all music, particularly these songs: Do everything By Steven Curtis Chapman; Free to be Me by Francesce Battistelli; Trouble with girls, Old King James, Water Tower Town all by Scotty McCreery.
  12. My favorite color is blue and green.
  13. I have trouble dealing with people who think their above God.
  14. My favorite place on earth so far in life is my home town, Kalispell, Montana, because from there I have 2 ski mountains and an extremely large fresh water lake only 30 minuets away and Glacier National Park 45 minuets away.
  15. I am an expert on nothing because you only live once so I like to try new things often. :)
  16. One dish I can cook well is gooey brownies!
  17. I am proud of my mom!
  18. My teachers last year will tell you that I am fun and hardworking.
  19. My favorite class is math because all the numbers and equations come quickly for me.
  20. If I had one hundred dollars I would pay bills, boring I know.
  21. I like mountain biking and hiking because I love to be outdoors.

  1. Welcome Jourdan. I've got strong ties to Montana. I went to graduate school in Missoula, and I often visit Billings, Montana because my husband's family lives there. I have never been to Kalispell. My only knowledge of the town (I think...) is that they may have a smoke jumping center? Sadly, after living over there all those years, I never visited Glacier. Perhaps this will be the year :)

  2. What a miricle it is to have you here, coming out of back surgery to spread your fun and outgoing, loud personality with the world. I would agree with your friends about you and think you seem like a very nice person, a great quality to have. I have seen you in some awkwark situations, in classes last year dealing with a fellow classmatethat may have had different views than you did, and you handled yourself very well. I laugh because it is not easy to be so nice to people and it is such a great quality to have. Good job!
